All our wound drainage systems can be extended with any of our wound drainage accessories.
Drainage bag - PVC-free!
The drainage bag is provided with a non-return valve, air filter, sealing cap, tear slit and volume scale. It is PVC-free.
Y-connector with/without trocar
Y-connectors and extra catheters are available in sizes FG 10, 14 & 18, colour-coded white, blue & green. They are easily connected to our wound drainage systems.
Trocar
Our curved stainless steel trocar is reusable. It is available in FG 8, 10, 14 & 18, supplied in clean (non-sterile) packs.
Silicone catheters - especially soft and tissue-friendly!
The Astra Tech silicone catheter has strong connections to both the attached trocar and the inlet - and it is radiopaque.
We especially recommended our silicone catheters for use with the Abdovac™ wound drain.
A choice of types..
- Round silicone catheter - FG 10, 14 & 18
- Flat silicone catheter - 7mm and 10 mm widths (attached to a FG 14 trocar)
