Companion Set
If the patient should lose more than one unit of blood (500 ml), the companion set may be used. The companion set consists of one autotransfusion bag and one transfusion set.
Extension line
The extension line makes sure that the patient’s blood never leaves a closed circuit, which may be desirable for religious reasons (Jehovah’s Witnesses).
Transfusion set
The set complies with ISO 1135-4 and has dual filters of 80/40 µm.
Y-connector with/without trocars
The Y-connector and extra catheter are available in sizes FG 10, 14, and 18. The different size Y-connectors are colour-coded (white, blue, and green).
Drainage Exchange Bag
Six hours after the operation, the blood collection phase is terminated and drainage exchange bags are used for the remaining wound drainage.
