The standard option for releasing the water is to fold the pocket at the waterline and squeeze down.
However we’ve been advised by those using the product that the easiest option is to roll the pocket from the top down, which increases pressure until the water is released.
For those with limited dexterity, LoFric Primo can be stuck to a wall or table so the pocket can be squashed with one hand or arm.
Some of you have reported a little difficulty in getting the water back into the sachet once the catheter has been soaked. Try twisting the water pocket slightly to ensure that the internal seal is completely open. This will allow the water to return to the pocket. You can then seal it using the sticky tab for disposal.

Opening the packaging
There are two standard options for opening the packaging. The first involves tearing at A & B after the catheter has soaked and the water been returned to the pocket. This allows you to use the handling aid to insert the catheter.
|
The second is to peel apart the packaging using the loops above the water-pocket. As the water will have been released and the catheter soaked, you can peel the packaging down to access the catheter funnel and remove the catheter.
