Consisting of a team of 9 sales specialists, the Dental South Team is responsible for all front line selling of our range of dental implant products to achieve targeted sales results.
We are seeking a person who will manage and inspire this talented sales team helping them to achieve exacting targets within specified selling related costs - central to which will be the establishment of a motivational style of leadership that encourages individual and team performance.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Making the most effective use of manpower resources, you’ll provide clear business direction, consistent with campaign objectives, and optimise the success of the Dental South Team through effective territory coverage.
Recruitment, performance management, retention and sales and product training will also fall within your influential remit, as will the control of operating expenses and the development of close working relationships with major customers.
Personal Skills & Experience
A strategic thinker, skilled negotiator and confident decision maker, innovative in your approach and able to set high personal standards, you’re focused very much on results and have excellent planning, team-building and motivational skills. This position requires a motivator with a natural style of management that nurtures individuals and fuels team performance.
Impeccable leadership skills will, of course, be essential. Evidence of success as a line manager in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry and demonstrably successful personal development are required. We’ll also be looking for training experience, either in the field or office-based.
You should live centrally within the area described above.
A driving licence with less than six points is essential.
