A Big Responsibility
Being the parent of a child with bladder emptying problems is a big responsibility. Aside from all the regular tasks of parenting, you also need to teach your child how to empty their bladder using ISC. 

You are also the person who has to make sure that your child is catheterised regularly, even when they are at the nursery, at school, at friends or relatives.

Teaching Your Child Self-Catheterisation
Teaching a child to wee using a catheter takes time. You must let it take time. Encourage your child to participate in the bladder emptying as soon as possible. Be calm and methodical and do it on your child's terms.
