The hydrophilic surface that coats LoFric Catheters when they are soaked in water makes the catheter easy and comfortable to use, but also very slippery. Some users find it easier to insert a catheter when they use a handling aid.

Catheterisation Mirror
In order to make the catheterisation process as gentle as possible, you need to manoeuvre and handle the catheter softly, this makes it easier to insert the catheter in the urethra.
Sometimes, women can find it difficult to find their urethra. Some learn to find their urethral opening by gently feeling with a finger, others find it easier to use a mirror.
The LoFric mirror is made for precisely this purpose. It can be adjusted for different angles, which makes it easier for you to find your urethra. The LoFric mirror can be easily folded and stored in your purse or your pocket.
Primo and Hydro-Kit II Pouch
This pouch has room to carry three to five of the LoFric Primo or Hydro-Kit II catheters as well as several wet wipes.
This pouch allows you to take your catheters when you're out an about. It's especially useful for men who don’t always carry a bag.
It can be worn on a belt and hung up when required and is often thought to be a camera or mobile phone case, so discretion is guaranteed!

Ideal for when you’re out and about, where hygiene is still important although the facilities might be limited.
These wet wipes are a good way to clean up before and after catheterisation and are available free to Select customers on request.
Note: We recommend that these wipes are used with, not instead of, thorough handwashing with soap and water.
ISC Reminder Watch
This cool blue digital watch can be set to vibrate, or alarm up to six times a day, great for reminding you when to catheterise.
We get lots of comments as to how useful these watches are, especially for younger children who don't always remember when they need to do ISC by themselves.
