To simplify treatment planning and inventory management, the Conical Seal Design™ implant-abutment connection now comes in just two sizes — small and large. The new aqua and lilac colour-coding corresponds to these two implant-abutment connection sizes. (Our previous colour-coding system corresponded to implant diameter).

Healing Abutment lines identify connection size: 3.5/4.0 = 2 lines. 4.5/5.0 = 3 lines.

Some abutments and components that have an implant connection are now laser-marked to simplify identification of connection size. For your convenience, abutment screws are included with the abutments.
New colour-coding for implant-abutment connection sizes:
- Aqua – Small: Implant diameters 3.5 and 4.0
- Lilac – Large: Implant diameters 4.5 and 5.0

Aqua
3.5 and 4.0 diameter implants and their corresponding abutments & components have changed. These products, with the small implant-abutment connection, are not compatible and cannot be used interchangeably with implants, abutments or components purchased before 1st October 2006.
Lilac
The large implant-abutment connection in 4.5 and 5.0 diameter implants and their corresponding components has not changed. You can use your previous inventory of large connection sized abutments & components with any 4.5 & 5.0 diameter implant.
However, because the measuring system has changed for new abutments and components, we recommend that new products are used together whenever possible. Refer to the page about “One measuring system” for detailed information.
