Why ISC?
Intermittent means every once in a while, emptying the bladder at regular intevals during the course of the day. Self-Catheterisation describes the method of using a catheter on oneself.
ISC may be necessary due to an inability to empty the bladder fully, this could be temporary or permanent. Whatever the reason, ISC can help both manage and improve bladder health.
ISC is a good alternative when the bladder doesn't empty by itself, it ensures complete bladder emptying and reduces the risk of infections and other complications.
Fitting in with individual lifestyles, ISC with LoFric gives users the freedom to decide when and where to empty their bladder, it maintains independence and allows users to live life to the full.
