ZirDesign™ is a two-piece component, fabricated in zirconia. It is easily modified, providing an anatomically designed prosthetic solution with high aesthetics. ZirDesign is inteded for use in the anterior and pre-molar regions but is not recommended for use in the molar regions. The ivory colour of the abutment offers a perfect base to create outstanding aesthetic porcelain work. For the best aesthetic result the all-ceramic crown is preferably seated with glass-ionomer or composite cement.

Procedures:

Measurement
Impression is recorded at implant level and the model is fabricated. The abutment size can be defined by using the depth gauge and/or trying different abutments in the model.

Modification
The abutment is screwed into an implant replica using the colour-coded laboratory screw and mounted in the grinding handle. Modifications of the abutment must be done by grinding under water irrigation.

|
Installation
The abutment is installed together with a temporary crown or the final restoration using the hex screwdriver and torque wrench.

|
Cementation
For the best aesthetic result the all-ceramic crown is preferably seated with glass-ionomer or composite cement.
