More than 750 people attended the Astra Tech Gold Sponsor Course held in conjunction with the 16th Annual Scientific meeting, European Association of Osseointegration, EAO, in Barcelona. The main scientific theme of the Good Evening Show was Astra Tech BioManagement Complex™ and its clinical implications.
The host and moderator Dr. Sverker Toreskog opened Good Evening with Astra Tech to a sold-out auditorium.
Latest news Astra Tech Dental
The latest news from Astra Tech was presented, highlighting the acquisition of Atlantis, the new Design Line™ abutments and the upcoming World Congress in Washington, DC, June 4-7, 2008.
When interviewed, Dr. Björn Delin, Business Unit Director, Dental, commented on how the combination of Cresco™, Facilitate™ and the newly acquired Atlantis gives Astra Tech Dental a complete product line for aesthetic implant treatment. This was also confirmed by the scientific presentations.
As an extra add on to this inspirational evening, Dr. Björn Delin presented the Astra Tech Conference Centre for Training & Education. The centre was opened this summer and is located at company headquarters in Mölndal, Sweden. This is an important part of Astra Tech’s efforts towards achieving great, long-term treatment results. It is also another important milestone on the way towards a market leading position by 2010.

In the scientific programme the internationally renown clinicians and scientists Professor Mariano Sanz from Spain, Dr. Fernando Rojas Vizcaya, USA; Prof. Tord Berglundh, Sweden, Prof. Lyndon Cooper, USA, presented scientific data and clinical experience, with the Astra Tech BioManagement Complex™ in focus.

The entertainment during the evening was performed by the guest artist, Carola Becker, who is also an Astra Tech implant patient. She performed two songs from her upcoming CD and was very much appreciated by the audience.
